Manor Lodge Approved Premises (AP) in Windsor, Berkshire has received an overall rating of ‘Good’ following an inspection by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Probation.

South Tees (YJS) has received an overall rating of ‘Good’ following an inspection by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Probation. This inspection looked at aspects of organisational delivery, work with children, and work with victims.

HM Inspectorate of Probation has today welcomed Faith Geary as Chief Operating Officer. Faith has spent her career working in the justice sector, delivering strategic initiatives, continuous improvement and change programmes across the Ministry of Justice.

The launch of our Approved Premises (APs) inspection programme comes at a pivotal point for the Probation Service. The number of places available in APs has been under pressure in recent years, and this is pressure is likely to increase following the introduction of Probation Reset, SDS40 early release scheme and the implementation of the Sentencing Review.

Southview Approved Premises (AP) in York has received an overall rating of ‘Outstanding’ following an inspection by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Probation.

Derby City Youth Justice Service (YJS) has received an overall rating of ‘Outstanding’ following an inspection of youth justice work with children and victims (IYJWCV) by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Probation.

Wakefield (YJS) has received an overall rating of ‘Good’ following an inspection of youth justice work with children and victims (IYJWCV) by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Probation. 

County Durham and Darlington Probation Delivery Unit (PDU) has received an overall rating of ‘Inadequate’ following an inspection by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Probation.

Redcar, Cleveland and Middlesbrough Probation Delivery Unit (PDU) has received an overall rating of ‘Requires improvement’ following an inspection by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Probation.
