Stoke-on-Trent Youth Justice Support Service (YJSS) has received an overall rating of ‘Inadequate’ following an inspection of work with children and victims by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Probation.

His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Probation has published its 2025-2026 Annual Report. For the first time, this report covers all Inspectorate programmes, including probation, youth justice, and national and area inspections, as well as organisational development, research, and impact.

Today we are publishing our new combined annual report, which gives an insightful overview of a period of significant activity for the Inspectorate, with the launch of three new inspection programmes amidst a backdrop of systemic challenges and ongoing policy changes across probation and youth justice services.

Peterborough Youth Justice Service (YJS) has received an overall rating of ‘Good’ following an inspection of work with children and victims by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Probation.
