Throughout the guide, we explore what effective practice looks like against our standards. It is designed to help commissioners and providers improve their work with young adults in the criminal justice system who are serving community and custodial sentences.

This effective practice guide is based on examples observed while undertaking the thematic inspection ‘The quality of services delivered to young adults in the Probation Service’.
