Effective practice guide: Youth Education, Training and Employment

Published:
Subject:
Thematic
Year:
2022
Open document

Based on our joint inspection of education, training and employment services in youth offending teams in England and Wales.

This guide is based on information sourced while undertaking the Education, Training and Employment thematic inspection and work arising from key lines of enquiry. Throughout the guide, we explore what good youth education, training and employment looks like, against our standards. This includes real-life examples of effective case supervision and organisational delivery. We conclude by highlighting what children have told us about their experiences of youth education, training and employment and how this should influence the work of youth justice practitioners.
