Chris Fox is Faculty Research Director for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Manchester Metropolitan University. He was Founder Director of the Policy Evaluation Research Unit (PERU) and is co-leader of Metropolis, a research-led thinktank working across the University.

He is also Professor of Evaluation and Policy Analysis at the University and an expert on evidence-based policy and public service reform with a particular interest in social investment, innovation, and the co-creation of public services. He has led many evaluation and research projects in policy areas including criminal justice.
